Step 1 Lead-in  

1. Begin the class with Bill Gates’ words and ask ss to give examples of technology in everyday life.

  How can we live well with technology?

  Have you ever experienced VR? What is VR? How does it work?

【设计意图：从Bill Gates 的话导入，让学生举例说出日常生活的科技，并询问学生与科技如何共生。然后提出到本课结束时希望学生能得出答案，让学生形成学习期待。引入VR话题, 激活背景知识, 为接下来的阅读做好铺垫。】

【设计意图：阅读文本，以回答问题和填写表格的形式, 让学生进行3部分内容的自主阅读，帮助学生提炼文本事实信息，培养学生梳理概括的能力，体验作者的思维过程。在梳理过程中对VR的好处进行深度理解并进行补充;了解VR发展过程中的障碍并思考是该继续还是放弃。在未来部分让学生解读2个句子的意思，来更好地理解未来有无限可能及我们缺乏的是想象力。从而来深度思考应该如何解决该问题，深化主题意义，加强德育教育，旨在培养创新思想及对未来的责任担当意识。】
