教学反思:
本节课属于高年级的阅读课,话题围绕保护地球环境展开,培养学生热爱地球、保护地球的意识,了解更多保护地球的方法。本节课中,我借助问题,围绕核心词Why?和How?,创设多样的教学活动,引导学生思考,在交流中促进学生思维和表达能力的发展。
1.传授技能,提升学生的阅读能力
阅读课的教学不同于一般对话和故事教学,需要给学生一些阅读技巧。在本节课中,我让学生通过学习阅读策略解决相关问题,如借助思维导图的方式帮助学生梳理文章的脉络。在教学过程中,我自然渗透指导学生如何制作思维导图,如可以用一些图片代替表达内容等等。我还指导学生学习一些阅读策略,如提炼文章主旨——四种保护地球方式,提炼关键词Why?和How?,以及根据图片和上下文猜测新单词reuse和cut down的意思等。学生只有学会了这些阅读策略才能提高阅读能力,才会在阅读中提高综合能力。
2.层层推进,培养学生的思维能力
本节课的教学设计是思维导图的的建构过程,我在不同阶段采用不同的阅读方式,提出不同的问题与任务,引导学生主动、积极地思考。仔细分析教材,发现语篇中四种保护地球的方式都是是围绕Why?和How?展开。于是我层层推进,设计有梯度的任务,分段学习语篇。在学习每个语段时,我都紧扣话题和段落小标题, 在学习Save energy时,我为学生在理解和表达上提供了支架,引导学生先思考“我们为什么要这么做?”,然后思考“我们应该怎么做?”,通过呈现思维导图,呈现文章的脉络信息,使学生理解得更加清楚,表达的更加流畅;在学习Don’t use too much plastic时,我示范了如何在语篇中寻找关键信息“我们为什么要这么做?”完成思维导图后,就让学生完成另一半“我们应该怎么做?”的思维导图;到最后相对比较简单的Save water和Save trees片断,就完全放手让学生自己阅读尝试制作思维导图了。随着段落的层层推进,语篇的主题更加凸显,学生保护地球的情感与意识也越来越强烈。学生围绕主题“Protect the Earth”,在思维导图的帮助下,构建了自己的知识网架,提升思维逻辑能力,也更加深刻的理解了语篇。
3.及时反馈,提高课堂学习效率
最后巩固环节,我利用了书后“How to protect the Earth?”的缺词填空,并把它设计成“倡议书”,不仅当堂考验了学生语言知识的掌握情况,我还将学习内容延伸到了课外,拓展了We should turn off the light when we go out.以及We should protect animals.,让学生传递保护地球,从身边小事做起的环保理念。
